Foam rolling is a self-help tool that uses a roller to apply pressure to help release stubbornly tight muscles, fascia and other connective tissues.
It can often be helpful to relieve muscle soreness and improve flexibility, and can be used as a stand-alone tool or before and after your exercise routine.

There’s a huge range of foam rollers available now, in many different sizes, shapes, designs and firmness, with each serving a very different purpose.
I have certainly seen people overdo it on a foam roller, and there’s some areas you need to avoid, but when it’s used well, it can be super helpful! If you’d like to know if it can be helpful for your body, and the best way for you, just ask me next time you’re in.
You can get in touch if you’d like to chat about anything before booking your OT session, otherwise you can book online at anytime.
