Telehealth Sessions

Sometimes you don’t necessarily need hands-on treatment – you just need advice, reassurance, troubleshooting, or a plan.

That’s why I also offer telehealth consultations via both video call and phone appointments.

Telehealth can be incredibly useful for a range of situations, including:

  • Acute pain flares or new injuries where you’re unsure what to do next
  • Checking whether symptoms need urgent assessment
  • Exercise progression or troubleshooting
  • Ergonomic or workstation advice
  • Guidance around pacing, posture, movement, or activity modification
  • Follow-up support between in-clinic sessions
  • Managing long-term or recurring musculoskeletal issues
  • Appointments where distance, travel, work, parenting, illness, or time constraints make it difficult to attend in person

A telehealth session can still allow for:

  • Detailed discussion of symptoms and progress
  • Functional movement assessment via video
  • Education around pain, loading, recovery and movement
  • Tailored home strategies and exercise guidance
  • Advice around braces, pain management, supports, taping, sleep positioning or self-management techniques
  • Planning the next steps

Many clients are surprised by how much can actually be achieved through a simple phone or video consultation – especially when they’re needing guidance in the moment, rather than waiting days or weeks for an in-person appointment.

Of course, there are still times where hands-on assessment and treatment are important, and if needed, we can always organise a follow-up clinic appointment as well.

Telehealth appointments are available for both new and existing patients via both:

  • Video call
  • Phone consultation

Appointments can be booked online anytime by simply selecting “Telehealth Appointment” through the online booking link.
